Milestone Celebrations
On 6th June 2014, my hubby Dave & I hosted a Fancy Dress Party for friends & family to celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary of my very successful Heart/Lung Transplant.
I am so humbled and forever grateful to my Donor Family for their enormous sacrifice & precious gift to me in the midst of their tragic loss ... It changed my life forever & is the main reason I was able to become a Celebrant.
My 92 Year Old Mum even got into the spirit of the occasion - dressed as a Court Jester!
My Transplant Buddy, Lorraine, shared in the festivities with me. She received new lungs six days after me & we shared a ward in The Prince Charles' Hospital & became friends ....
